The workshop “5xERC on Jets” is a scientific meeting to be held at Ringberg Castle in Kreuth, south of Munich, from 22–24 October 2025. This event brings together the teams of five ERC-funded projects—M2FINDERS, ASTROGEODESY, BOOTES, PARTICLES, and MuSES—which, while distinct in methodology and focus, all converge on the study of relativistic jets in active galactic nuclei (AGN).

These projects tackle complementary aspects of jet physics, including magnetic field structures, time-domain optical polarization, multi-messenger particle composition, high-resolution VLBI imaging, and astrometric geodesy. The workshop provides a platform for sharing recent results, fostering collaboration, and addressing open challenges at the intersection of VLBI science, high-energy astrophysics, and jet composition studies.
The meeting also includes a select group of external experts and collaborators to broaden perspectives and deepen the scientific dialogue. Participation is by invitation only.
